Fully Remote Estimator - Freelance - 2/3 days per week
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Estimator to support tendering and cost planning for roofing and cladding projects across the UK. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing tender documents, and liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to produce competitive bids.
This role is Part-Time (2-3 days per week) and fully remote.
Key Responsibilities:

Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents for roofing and cladding packages.

Prepare accurate cost estimates including materials, labour, plant, and subcontractor costs.

Carry out quantity take-off's from drawings.

Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

Assist with preparation and submission of tender documents.

Identify potential cost risks and opportunities within project scopes.

Maintain clear records of estimates and supporting documentation.
Requirements:

Proven experience estimating roofing and cladding projects in the UK construction industry.

Strong understanding of roofing systems, cladding systems, and associated materials.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel.

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tender deadlines.
