The Role
We are looking for a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our field team. The role involves a mix of planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and specialized commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance & Repair: Servicing and repairing a wide range of commercial gas equipment and heating systems.
- Commissioning: Setting up and signing off manufacturer equipment (specialist training will be provided for the right candidate).
- Client Interaction: Representing the company on-site, ensuring high standards of workmanship and professional communication.
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for a reliable professional who can work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
Essential:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Commercial Gas Engineering.
- Qualifications: Current and valid commercial gas safety certifications (ACS).
- Technical Knowledge: Proven experience with commercial heating systems.
- Driving: A full, clean UK driving license is required.
- Soft Skills: Punctual, personable, and able to communicate effectively with clients at all levels.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of heating control systems.
What We Offer
- Salary: 44k basic, 50k + with overtime
- Contract: Full-time, permanent position.
- Hours: Minimum 40 hours per week plus travel time, and overtime rates after 4.30 pm
