Senior Repairs Manager

Hamilton Woods Associates are currently recruiting for a Senior Repairs Manager to join an organisation to lead the delivery of planned works projects on a permanent basis.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Senior Repairs Manager:

  • Act as the point of contact for escalation relating to tenant issues and complaints
  • Support the Contract Manager in the management of sub-contractors to ensure SLA's, quality or service, value for money, and safe working methods are achieved
  • Carry out one-to-ones and appraisals
  • Coach and train line reports to be able to manage conflict, issues, and poor performance of staff
  • Measure operational delivery performance
  • Provide cost estimates in terms of time, materials, programme of works, risk assessments and method statements
  • Work closely with clients and maintain good working relationships
  • Ensure all complaints are recorded and resolved within a timely manner
  • Set budgets
  • Ensure Health and Safety practices and policies are followed and adhered to by all the resources utilised in the delivery of the work

Essential Requirements of the Senior Repairs Manager:

  • IOSH Managing Safely or Recognised certification in Health and Safety Management
  • Diploma/HNC/ Qualification in a Building discipline
  • Strong knowledge of Housing and Regulatory standards.
  • Experience with Contract Management.
  • Have a full driving licence
