Hamilton Woods Associates are currently recruiting for a Senior Repairs Manager to join an organisation to lead the delivery of planned works projects on a permanent basis.
Duties & Responsibilities of the Senior Repairs Manager:
- Act as the point of contact for escalation relating to tenant issues and complaints
- Support the Contract Manager in the management of sub-contractors to ensure SLA's, quality or service, value for money, and safe working methods are achieved
- Carry out one-to-ones and appraisals
- Coach and train line reports to be able to manage conflict, issues, and poor performance of staff
- Measure operational delivery performance
- Provide cost estimates in terms of time, materials, programme of works, risk assessments and method statements
- Work closely with clients and maintain good working relationships
- Ensure all complaints are recorded and resolved within a timely manner
- Set budgets
- Ensure Health and Safety practices and policies are followed and adhered to by all the resources utilised in the delivery of the work
Essential Requirements of the Senior Repairs Manager:
- IOSH Managing Safely or Recognised certification in Health and Safety Management
- Diploma/HNC/ Qualification in a Building discipline
- Strong knowledge of Housing and Regulatory standards.
- Experience with Contract Management.
- Have a full driving licence
