Location: Loughton
Salary: £32,000 £36,000 per year (depending on experience)
Contract: Full Time Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plumber to join a busy and growing maintenance team working across occupied and void residential and commercial properties.

The Role

You will carry out a wide range of plumbing works across domestic and commercial properties including both occupied and void homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out repairs and maintenance on hot and cold water systems

  • Working with vented and unvented systems

  • Diagnosing faults within drainage systems including above and underground drainage

  • Repairing and replacing sanitary fittings and pipework

  • Completing work in line with building regulations and British Standards

  • Maintaining high health and safety standards including risk assessments

  • Managing van stock and ordering materials through handheld systems

  • Using PDA/handheld devices to update job statuses and complete reports

  • Delivering high quality workmanship and excellent customer service

  • Supervising apprentices when required

  • Participating in an out-of-hours standby rota

What We re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in plumbing repairs and maintenance

  • Able to work independently and manage their own workload

  • Reliable, organised and motivated

  • Comfortable working in residential and commercial environments

  • Professional when dealing with customers and tenants

  • Capable of working safely and following company procedures

Requirements
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations

  • Knowledge of Legionella awareness and basic electrical principles

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Ability to use handheld devices and job management systems

  • DBS check required for the role
