Ensuring estimates are accurate, competitive and submitted within deadlines. Supporting the handover of successful tenders to the delivery and commercial teams. Maintaining up-to-date cost information and supplier databases. Contributing to value engineering and alternative cost proposals where appropriate. About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: Previous experience working as an Estimator within the construction industry. Experience pricing refurbishment, fit-out or general building projects. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and associated costs. The ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications and tender documentation. Experience obtaining subcontractor quotations and negotiating costs. Strong numerical, analytical and commercial skills. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously. Good communication and organisational skills. Proficiency in relevant estimating software and Microsoft Excel. A construction-related qualification is desirable but not essential.
