Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer (CIS)
A great opportunity for a Site Engineer with experience in civil engineering and structures to join a large and growing contractor operating in the London area. The successful Site Engineer will join a successful team that is growing due to several contract wins. The successful Site Engineer will be a self-starter with strong communication skills.
The opportunity would suit a Site Engineer with experience in civil engineering, ideally with some experience in structural engineering. The successful Site Engineer will likely have the following qualifications and experience.
Person Profile
- Experience in setting out for groundworks and civil engineering packages
- Strong QA/QC knowledge.
- Skilled in reading engineering drawings and ensuring the setting out is to specification
- Proficient in the use of total stations.
- A degree qualified civil engineer or equivalent experience would be preferred but not essential.
- Experience working as an engineer on site.
- Work well independently as well as in a team environment.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
- CSCS
