Our client, a prominent London borough, is currently seeking a Registered Building Inspector - Class 2D to join their team on a contract basis. This role primarily involves overseeing building control within the buildings sector, demonstrating expertise in compliance and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting six inspections per day over four days a week
- Ensuring that building projects comply with current regulations and standards
- Completing comprehensive reports on inspection findings
- Providing guidance on necessary corrective actions
- Collaborating with contractors, architects, and engineers to resolve compliance issues
- Managing and recording documentation related to inspections and approvals
- Working from home one day per week to handle administrative tasks
Job Requirements:
