Quantity Surveyor

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, takes ownership of cost control, and can guide a project from early-stage budgeting through to final account.Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and cashflow forecasts
• Conduct regular cost reporting and advise on cost-saving opportunities
• Manage procurement, tendering, and contractor negotiations
• Assess valuations, variations, and payment applications
• Provide commercial oversight throughout construction
• Support with contract administration and final accounts

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on residential or mixed-use schemes
• Strong understanding of UK construction costs, procurement routes, and contracts
• Able to work independently and communicate clearly with project stakeholders
• Detail-driven, commercially minded, and proactive in identifying risks
