Assistant Site Manager - Damp & Mould Schemes - Social Housing

I'm working with a large, well-established contractor delivering social housing refurbishment works. The contractor operates across a range of sectors including new build housing, social housing refurbishments, and commercial projects.

They are seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of damp & mould remediation works across occupied social housing properties in Nottingham.

The Role:

• Assisting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of damp & mould refurbishment projects

• Coordinating subcontractors carrying out remediation and associated works

• Supervising trades working within occupied properties

• Ensuring works are carried out safely and in line with programme

• Carrying out site inductions, toolbox talks, and daily briefings

• Monitoring quality of workmanship and reporting defects or issues

• Liaising with residents, client representatives, and internal teams

• Maintaining site paperwork including daily diaries, H&S records, and progress updates

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in an Assistant Site Manager or supervisory role within social housing refurbishment

• Experience working on damp & mould schemes preferred

• Strong understanding of health & safety and working in occupied properties

• Good communication and organisational skills

• CSCS (essential), SMSTS or SSSTS preferred, First Aid advantageous
