This role would suit someone from a Mechanical, Electrical or Civil engineering background who enjoys early-stage project involvement, defining scope, assessing risk, and shaping projects before they go to site.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertaking site visits and asset condition assessments

  • Developing detailed scope documents and engineering reports

  • Defining project requirements in collaboration with client stakeholders

  • Identifying risks, constraints and constructability considerations

  • Supporting outline design development and technical solutions

  • Assisting with cost estimates and programme input

  • Liaising with design teams across Mechanical, Electrical and Civil disciplines

  • Supporting tender documentation and handover into delivery teams

About You

  • Background in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering

  • Experience within water / wastewater or utilities infrastructure

  • Strong understanding of MEICA installations and site-based constraints

  • Comfortable working in early project lifecycle / feasibility stages

  • Able to interpret drawings, specifications and asset data

  • Commercially aware with strong communication skills
