Engineer

Engineer Highways & Water North East £50k - £55k + Package

I am working for an established regional contractor who are looking to appoint an Engineer to support a growing portfolio of highways and water projects across the North East

This role suits an Engineer who enjoys being on site and close to delivery, supporting construction teams and playing a key role in getting work built safely and correctly.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out for highways and water projects
• Supporting day-to-day site operations and site management
• Producing and maintaining as-built records
• Assisting with QA documentation, ITPs, and inspections
• Supporting temporary works and method statement implementation
• Liaising with subcontractors and supervisors on site
• Ensuring works are delivered safely and to specification

Ideal Background

• Experience on highways and water schemes
• Practical, site-based engineering background
• Confident with setting out and technical problem-solving
• CSCS and relevant civil engineering qualifications
