Are you a highly skilled carpenter looking for a permanent, well-paid day role delivering high-quality works across commercial buildings in London?

We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Technician with a strong carpentry bias to carry out a wide range of minor works and building fabric projects to an exceptional standard. This role is ideal for a craftsman who takes pride in precision, finish and professionalism, while also being confident supporting across other trades when required.

The Role

This is a mobile, client-facing position delivering planned and reactive minor works across commercial office environments and other high-end commercial properties.

Carpentry will form the core of your workload, with opportunities to assist across general building trades where needed.

Key Responsibilities Carpentry & Joinery (Primary Focus)

You will carry out both 1st and 2nd fix carpentry works including:

1st Fix:

• Stud wall construction and alterations

• Door frame installation

• Structural timber work

• Partition modifications

• Timber framework for commercial fit-outs

2nd Fix:

• Hanging, easing and adjusting doors

• Installing and repairing ironmongery (locks, closers, hinges)

• Skirting, architraves and trims

• Bespoke joinery adjustments

• Fitting kitchens, storage units and IPS panels

• Installation of shelving and commercial fixtures

• Final finishing works to a high decorative standard

You will be expected to deliver clean, precise finishes suitable for premium commercial environments.

Minor Works & Multi-Trade Support

While carpentry is the core focus, you may also assist with:

• Basic plumbing adjustments (taps, waste fittings, minor pipework)

• Minor plaster patching and making good

• Flooring repairs and threshold adjustments

• Ceiling tile replacements

• General fabric maintenance tasks

• Supporting other trades on small project works

What We re Looking For

• Strong, proven carpentry background (commercial experience preferred)

• Confident in both 1st and 2nd fix works

• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple small jobs

• Professional and presentable client-facing role

• Good understanding of health & safety in commercial environments

• Full UK driving licence preferred
