The role & about the client:
ITS Building People are recruiting on behalf of a reputable groundworks construction company. This client is a groundworks specialist, supplying services from 278 works to general infrastructures. They are looking for someone to join the team with Groundworks Housing experience as this is for a project with a National House Builder.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure full compliance with CDM regulations and company H&S policies
• Produce and review RAMS (Risk Assessments and method statements)
• Plan and coordinate daily groundworks activities
• Liaise with main contractor/ client regarding progress and logistics
• Ensure works meet drawings, specifications and tolerances
• Maintain quality records and as built information
• Monitor labour, plant and material costs
• Assist with valuations and progress reporting
• Attend site meetings with the client and principal contractor
• Provide regular progress updates to Contracts Manager etc
• Maintain site records and permits
• Supervise site staff and maintain productivity on site

The ideal candidate will have:

• Relevant tickets- SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS
• Experience working on a Groundworks residential site
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively with team
• Proactive, detail-orientated and able to work independently in a fast paced environment
• Committed to maintaining high health, safety, and environmental standards
