Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fire Alarm Service and Maintenance Engineer to join our expanding team, covering clients across East London. The chance to join a growing M&E specialist firm with over 30 years of experience.This role suits a technically strong engineer with excellent fault-finding ability and a commitment to delivering first-class service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding on fire alarm systems across a variety of commercial sites

  • Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently, minimising downtime for clients

  • Confidently service and maintain fire alarm panels

  • Inspect, test, and maintain fire extinguishers in accordance with relevant standards

  • Complete detailed service reports, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant

  • Provide technical advice and support to customers regarding system performance and upgrades

  • Ensure all work is completed in line with current fire safety regulations and company procedures

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Fire Alarm Service Engineer

  • Strong knowledge of BS 5839 and relevant fire safety standards

  • Proven experience working with Kentec, C-Tec, and Advanced panels

  • Ability to independently diagnose and resolve system faults

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset

Desirable Skills

  • FIA training and equivalent industry qualifications
