The Opportunity An Excellent Opportunity for a Senior Site Manager to work alongside a Project Manager to lead a brand new £100M residential scheme in Sydenham, Kent which involves the construction of 254 apartments across two large wide RC frame blocks up to 11 stories with rooftop gardens/roofscapes and roof solar panels, along with balconies and yellow stock brickwork to match the surrounding buildings and history; along with a large undercroft basement car park and extensive landscaping. This project officially starts in September 2022; but we are looking for the successful Senior Site Manager to join the business in June/July 2022 to be involved in the development from pre-construction to handover. The successful Senior Site Manager will be responsible for the delivery of the scheme under the Project Manager along with several Site Managers and Assistant Site Managers under you, and you will be responsible for all aspects of the build process from groundworks to superstructure, externals and internal fitout. The Candidate The ideal candidate will be a Senior Site Manager or strong Site Manager with a background in delivering new build residential schemes; able to manage programmes & budgets, and successfully lead a site team to deliver an exceptional quality product, with key focus on detail and an eye for quality. Longevity in their career is vital for the successful Senior Site Manager, with a track history of taken projects from start to finish. Experience in the construction and delivery of residential apartments is important for this position.
