Assistant/ Intermediate Estimator Specialist Construction
Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 (DOE)

Assistant Estimator / Intermediate Estimator to join their growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in estimating within a specialist contractor setting.

The Role

You ll support the estimating function across a range of projects, helping to prepare accurate, timely, and competitive tenders. Working closely with senior team members, you ll gain hands on experience in:

• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
• Quantifying materials and labour requirements
• Preparing cost estimates and assisting with tender submissions
• Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations
• Maintaining internal pricing databases and project records
• Supporting the commercial team with general pre construction duties

Requirements for the role:

• A minimum of 2-3 years experience in Estimating within a subcontractor environment.
• Someone with early experience in Estimating or Quantity Surveying.
• A technically minded individual from a trade or site background looking to move into pre construction.

You should also have:

• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Good communication and IT proficiency.
• A methodical approach and attention to detail.
