Sub-Contractors Quantity Surveyor - Multi-Trades

A well-established and growing joinery, fit-out and multi-trades contractor based in Cheadle, delivering high-quality projects across the commercial and residential sectors. The business has built a strong reputation for craftsmanship, reliability and long-standing client relationships, working with main contractors and developers across the North West and beyond.

With a healthy pipeline of secured work and continued growth plans, they are looking to strengthen their commercial team with the appointment of an experienced Quantity Surveyor.

As Sub-Contractors Quantity Surveyor - Multi-Trades, you will be responsible for:

• Managing the commercial aspects of multiple joinery, fit-out and multi-trade packages

• Preparing and submitting interim valuations and final accounts

• Cost planning, budgeting and forecasting

• Procurement and management of subcontractors

• Variations management and negotiation

• Monitoring project costs to ensure profitability and margin control

• Supporting project teams to ensure commercial compliance and efficiency

• Liaising with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders

This role offers a mix of office-based work in Cheadle and site visits across the North West.

The successful Sub-Contractors Quantity Surveyor - Multi-Trades will have:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within joinery, fit-out or multi-trade subcontracting

• Strong knowledge of commercial processes and contract administration

• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills

• A proactive, commercially astute approach

• Ability to work independently and as part of a growing team

• 50,000 - 55,000 basic salary
