Electrical Estimator

Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Salary:
40,000 to 50,000 Dependent on Experience
Hours:
8:30 to 5:30, Monday to Friday
Annual Leave:
20 Days plus 8 Days Bank holidays

Overview

Our client is an Electrical contracting company with over 30 years of expertise delivering professional installation, maintenance, testing and project services across commercial, domestic and industrial sectors. They specialise in EV charging point installations, fire alarms, access control and CCTV systems, providing reliable solutions to private and corporate clients throughout South Yorkshire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed and accurate estimates
  • Analyse drawings and specifications to assess project requirements
  • Seek best value while maintaining the company's high-quality standards
  • Collaborate with pre-constructions teams, design teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth progress
  • Attend site visits as required
  • Plan a prioritise all work to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations

Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required

  • Electrical experience is essential to this role, with ideally over 2 years in industry
  • Previous track record of achieving high target deliverables in an estimating role
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and scopes of work accurately
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Organised and pro-active with a positive can-do attitude essential
