You ll be the go-to engineer on a mix of small to medium projects (up to £50m), with a strong weighting towards:
- Structural / condition surveys, inspections, defect diagnosis and report writing.
- Intrusive + non-intrusive investigations and practical remediation advice.
- Design solutions across masonry, timber, RC and steel, plus foundations/basements where needed.
- Working with clients and design teams to keep scopes, deliverables and fees clear.
- You ll be out on site across London and the South East, so strong written English and confidence dealing with stakeholders matters.
- Chartered Structural Engineer (IStructE or ICE)
- Strong understanding of building construction + UK regs
- Comfortable owning workstreams independently, while still being a team player
- Solid experience with existing buildings, surveys, inspections and reports (this is key)
