We're recruiting an Approved Electrician to join a well-established, highly respected Housing Association covering Matlock and the surrounding area. This is a permanent, mobile role offering excellent pay, strong long-term security, and the backing of a supportive, skilled team.

You'll be trusted to deliver quality electrical work across void properties, carrying out remedial works, maintenance, testing and repairs - all while keeping the customer at the heart of what you do.

The Role

  • Electrical maintenance, remedial works, testing and repairs

  • Working across void domestic properties

  • Delivering excellent customer service in customers' homes

  • Working on an out-of-hours rota, including some evening, weekend and Sunday work

  • Mobile role covering Matlock and surrounding areas

This is a varied role - no two days are the same. Expectations are high, but you'll be fully supported by a strong, experienced team who take pride in their work.



What We're Looking For

  • Completed Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent

  • NVQ Level 3 & City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation

  • AM2

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

  • City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent (Testing & Inspection)

  • Solid testing experience

  • Proven experience working in domestic properties

  • Previous experience with a Housing Association, Social Landlord or Local Authority (highly desirable)

  • Strong customer service skills and professional approach

  • Full UK driving licence - essential

Due to working in customers' homes, a DBS check is required.
