The role & about the client:
ITS Construction are recruiting on behalf of a client for experienced Electrical Installation Engineers to work on secure-sector and large-scale construction projects. This role is strictly installation-focused and is not suitable for maintenance or servicing engineers.
Projects are primarily based around Portsmouth and Southampton, however candidates must be flexible and willing to stay away on occasions depending on project requirements. Due to the nature of the work, successful applicants must be able to obtain security clearance.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Carrying out electrical installation works on construction projects
• Installing containment, wiring, panels, and associated systems
• Working from drawings, specifications, and method statements
• Ensuring all works comply with current regulations and health & safety standards
• Liaising with site supervisors and project teams
• Completing works to agreed programme and quality standards

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Installation Engineer
• Installation background essential - maintenance and servicing experience alone will not be considered
• Relevant NVQ and/or City & Guilds electrical qualifications
• Experience within construction or secure environments preferred
• Willing to stay away when required
• No unspent or upcoming convictions (security clearance requirement)
• UK passport essential
• Full UK driving licence
• Reliable, professional, and safety focused
