Location: St Helens / Warrington
Job Type: Full-time / Ongoing
Start Date: Immediate start
Pay Rate: 22.55 per hour (Umbrella)

Job Description
We are currently recruiting an experienced Gas Engineer to work across social housing properties in the St Helens and Warrington areas.

The role will involve carrying out gas servicing, maintenance and repairs on cookers and gas fires within both tenanted and void properties. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable engineer looking for consistent, local work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Servicing, maintenance and repair of gas cookers and gas fires

  • Working within tenanted and void social housing properties

  • Completing all relevant paperwork and certification accurately

  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently

  • Ensuring all work complies with current Gas Safety regulations

  • Providing a professional and courteous service to tenants

Requirements

  • ACS Gas qualifications (CKR1 and HTR1 essential)

  • Gas Safe registered

  • Experience working in social housing or domestic properties

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Strong understanding of gas safety and compliance

  • Good communication and customer service skills
