Job Description
We are working with a well-established groundworks and civil engineering contractor delivering projects nationwide, with the majority of current works located in London. They are looking to appoint an experienced Site Engineer / Setting Engineer on a permanent basis.
This role would suit an engineer based in the Berkshire / Thames Valley region, comfortable working across multiple sites and supporting groundworks and civil engineering packages.
Key Responsibilities

Setting out for groundworks, drainage, kerbs, roads and associated civils works

Producing and maintaining accurate levels, lines and dimensions

Interpreting drawings, specifications and construction information

Supporting site management with QA checks and as-built records

Liaising with site teams and subcontractors to ensure accurate delivery

Maintaining engineering and technical site records
Requirements

Previous experience as a Site Engineer / Setting Engineer within groundworks or civil engineering

Strong setting-out capability using total stations, GPS and levels

Sound understanding of construction drawings and specifications

CSCS card and full UK driving licence (essential)

Willingness to travel to sites nationwide (primarily London)

Relevant engineering qualification preferred but not essential
