Gas Engineer - (Social Housing)

Location: St Helens / Warrington area
Pay Rate: 22.55 per hour - Umbrella PAYE
Contract: Long-term work Temp to Perm
Hours: Full-time

We are recruiting an experienced Gas Engineer to join the Planned Maintenance Team for a well-established social housing maintenance contractor covering the St Helens and Warrington areas. This is a long-term position with the opportunity to go temp to perm for the right candidate.

The role will focus on planned works, primarily involving gas cookers and gas fires, within occupied social housing properties.

• Carrying out planned gas works on cookers and gas fires

• Installation, servicing, and maintenance within social housing properties

• Working safely within occupied homes

• Ensuring all work complies with Gas Safe and health & safety regulations

• Completing job updates and documentation via PDA/mobile systems

• Providing a professional and courteous service to tenants

• ACS / Gas Safe registered

• Proven experience working on gas cookers and gas fires

• Previous experience within social housing

• Competent using PDA/mobile job management systems

• Full clean UK driving licence

• Strong understanding of gas safety and compliance

• 22.55 per hour (Umbrella PAYE)

• Company van and fuel card provided

• Long-term, stable work
