About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects specialising in drylining, suspended ceilings, and SFS framing systems. You will manage projects from pre-start through to final handover, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage drylining, suspended ceiling, and SFS packages on multiple projects
• Plan and coordinate labour, materials, and subcontractors
• Produce and manage project programmes and short-term lookaheads
• Ensure works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and regulations
• Monitor costs, variations, and commercial performance
• Liaise with main contractors, site managers, clients, and design teams
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and site procedures
• Attend site meetings and provide regular progress reports
• Manage snagging, QA, and final handover

About you

• Proven experience managing drylining, SFS, and ceiling packages
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site operations
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Experience managing site teams and subcontract labour
• Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability

Essential

• Background in drylining / suspended ceilings / SFS
• SMSTS
• CSCS (Manager or Professional level)
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable

• First Aid at Work
• Experience on commercial or high-rise projects
• Relevant construction qualification
