Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with an established residential developer to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support their growing commercial team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a developing commercial professional looking to build their career within residential construction, working closely with experienced Quantity Surveyors and site teams while gaining exposure across live projects.

The Role:

• Assist with managing build and infrastructure costs, cash flow, variations and budgets at site and plot level
• Support the administration of subcontractor and third-party agreements
• Assist with procurement of subcontract packages in line with company procedures
• Help prepare cost and budget reports and support cost control initiatives on site
• Work closely with site and regional teams to ensure commercial processes are followed
• Support senior team members with day-to-day commercial activities

About You:

• Studying towards or holding a Quantity Surveying qualification, or relevant industry experience
• Some experience or understanding of COINS advantageous
• Good understanding of construction methods and commercial principles
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
• A proactive and team-oriented approach
• Flexible to travel to sites as required
