They're on the hunt for a Contract Sales Manager across the M62 corridor who is experienced within the world of bathrooms. The Contract Sales Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing specification opportunities within the commercial and residential construction sectors. The role focuses on promoting the company's bathroom product portfolio to architects, designers, developers, contractors, housebuilders, and back selling through the merchants, ensuring products are specified on major projects from concept through to completion. The successful candidate will proactively scope out new project opportunities, build strong industry relationships, influence specifications, and deliver profitable sales growth across the M62 corridor. Roles & Responsibilities: Business Development Identify and target major construction projects within residential, hospitality, healthcare, education, leisure, and commercial sectors. Develop and maintain a pipeline of specification-led opportunities through project tracking platforms, industry contacts, and market intelligence. Engage with developers, architects, interior designers, M&E consultants, quantity surveyors, and main contractors to secure product specifications. Generate new business opportunities and expand existing client relationships. Project Specification & Management Drive specification of bathroom products from initial design stages through to project completion. Provide technical and product expertise to consultants and specifiers alongside building strong relationships with merchants. Monitor project timelines and key decision-making stages to maximise conversion opportunities. Coordinate project activity with internal sales, customer service, logistics, and technical teams. Ensure specified products are protected and converted into orders. Sub Agent Location: Manchester Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Job Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role We are looking for an experienced Sub Agent to join a civil engineering project team, taking responsibility for the day-to-day operational control, technical management and site leadership of a civil engineering project. Working closely with the Project Manager, the Sub Agent will ensure the project is delivered safely, to specification, on programme and within budget. The role will involve coordinating site engineering, subcontractors, resources and technical activities across the project. Key Responsibilities Take day-to-day responsibility for site operations, logistics, plant allocation and material deliveries. Lead on health, safety and environmental compliance, including RAMS, site briefings and toolbox talks. Manage permits including Permit to Dig, Confined Spaces and Hot Works. Coordinate temporary works where appropriately qualified. Own and manage the short-term look-ahead programme, ensuring weekly targets align with the overall contract programme. Manage subcontractors and monitor performance against agreed programmes. Oversee site engineering, setting-out and technical requirements. Manage RFIs and Technical Queries, working with designers to resolve issues efficiently. Ensure Inspection and Test Plans are completed, witnessed and signed off progressively. Identify and manage NCRs and defects through to close-out. Monitor site activities for changes to scope and provide information to support Early Warning Notices and Compensation Events under NEC contracts. Maintain accurate daily site records covering labour, plant, weather, delays and key events. Monitor resource efficiency, material wastage and plant utilisation. Lead and develop members of the site team, providing guidance on quality, programming and safety. Maintain proactive communication with the Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor, designers, subcontractors and wider project team. About You The successful Sub Agent will have a strong background in civil engineering and proven experience managing site operations on construction or infrastructure projects. You will ideally have: Previous experience working as a Sub Agent, Site Agent, Senior Site Engineer or similar. Strong knowledge of civil engineering construction and site operations. Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating site teams. Good understanding of health, safety, quality and environmental requirements. Experience working with NEC contracts and an understanding of Early Warning Notices and Compensation Events. Strong technical and engineering knowledge, including setting-out and quality assurance. Experience with short-term programming and project delivery. Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills. A proactive approach to identifying issues and resolving problems before they affect project delivery. Temporary Works Coordinator experience or qualification would be advantageous.
