Site Manager (Windows & Doors Replacement)
Location: Oldham and surrounding areas Sector: Social Housing / Planned Maintenance
Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to lead high-volume window and door replacement schemes. As our organization continues to expand its footprint in the social housing sector, this role is critical in ensuring that large-scale uPVC and composite door installations are executed with precision, safety, and a "resident-first" mindset.
The successful candidate will oversee site operations from inception to completion, ensuring all works meet rigorous compliance standards while maintaining excellent relationships with local authorities and housing associations.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery: Oversee the full lifecycle of window and door replacement programs, ensuring all works align with the technical scope, specifications, and strict delivery timelines.
- Performance & Quality: Monitor site progress and conduct regular quality assurance sign-offs to ensure installations meet industry-leading standards.
- Financial Oversight: Work closely with the Quantity Surveying team to manage project budgets, optimize resources, and safeguard profitability.
- Team Leadership: Direct site operatives and subcontractors, setting daily objectives and ensuring a high-performance culture across all trades.
- Health & Safety: Maintain an exemplary safety record by conducting site inductions, ensuring 100% PPE compliance, and managing rigorous Health & Safety documentation.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for residents and client representatives, ensuring minimal disruption and high levels of tenant satisfaction.
Candidate Requirements
- Specialist Experience: Proven track record in Site Management, specifically focusing on external envelope works (uPVC windows and composite doors).
- Sector Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Social Housing landscape and the nuances of working within occupied domestic properties.
- Qualifications:
- Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certificate.
- Current First Aid at Work certification.
- Asbestos Awareness (highly desirable).
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and communicate effectively with residents.
