About the role of Managing Quantity Surveyor

As Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will be overseeing 3 - 4 residential schemes with valuations of 130 million, 20 million, 25 million, and 30 million. The company are a well-established UK construction and housing partner that predominately focus on residential developments and regeneration projects. They have a very strong financial and industry position with lots of financial backing, resources, and organisational strength.

Key Responsibilities of Managing Quantity Surveyor:

Include but not limited to;

• Attend regular team meetings
• Provide advice to the team on resolving contractual disputes and legal matters in a timely manner
• Ensure high standards of cash flow forecasting
• Review project cash flows with team and present to Commercial Director
• Maintain positive and successful client relationships
• Managing full upstream process
• Provide assistance and support on all commercial issue
• Final Accounting

Key Requirements of Managing Quantity Surveyor:

• Live within commutable distance to Cardiff
• Residential/contracting background
• Experience with JCT contracts
• Experience leading projects
