Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor Autonomy, progression and specialist project exposure

This is a newly created Senior Quantity Surveyor opportunity for an experienced consultancy-side QS who enjoys autonomy, responsibility and being trusted to deliver. Based out of Barnet, you'll be supporting a specialist fire and remediation-focused business with a strong and growing pipeline of work.

You'll join a well-established, multidisciplinary consultancy group with a people-first culture and long-term vision. The workload is secure, varied and technically interesting, and there is genuine investment in developing senior professionals rather than just filling a seat.

What you'll be doing

• Leading cost management on specialist projects from early stages through to completion
• Preparing cost plans, estimates and financial reports
• Managing procurement, tendering and contract administration
• Advising clients on cost, risk and value
• Working closely with technical and project teams on complex schemes

What they're looking for

• Strong consultancy background at Senior QS level
• Ideally chartered (MRICS) or working towards it
• Confident managing projects with minimal supervision
• Open to developing fire safety and remediation knowledge
• Clear, professional communicator with client-facing confidence
