Job Description


Our client, a leading contractor in the water sector, is currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team in Bournemouth on a long-term contract basis.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing daily operations on-site, ensuring all activities are carried out safely and efficiently
  • Managing and coordinating subcontractors and site workers
  • Monitoring project progress and ensuring timely completion of tasks
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Conducting site inspections and quality control checks
  • Providing technical guidance and support related to reservoir and pipework projects
  • Liaising with project stakeholders, including clients and suppliers
  • Maintaining accurate site records and documentation


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in the water sector, specifically with reservoirs or southern water projects
  • Strong understanding of pipework systems
  • Proficiency in managing blue-collar workers on-site
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to handle project documentation and reporting
  • Available to start in 3 weeks
