Job Description
Our client, a leading contractor in the water sector, is currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team in Bournemouth on a long-term contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing daily operations on-site, ensuring all activities are carried out safely and efficiently
- Managing and coordinating subcontractors and site workers
- Monitoring project progress and ensuring timely completion of tasks
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Conducting site inspections and quality control checks
- Providing technical guidance and support related to reservoir and pipework projects
- Liaising with project stakeholders, including clients and suppliers
- Maintaining accurate site records and documentation
Job Requirements:
- Experience in the water sector, specifically with reservoirs or southern water projects
- Strong understanding of pipework systems
- Proficiency in managing blue-collar workers on-site
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Effective communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to handle project documentation and reporting
- Available to start in 3 weeks
