Repair surveyor - Temp to perm

Location: Barnet - (works will be out of borough)
Rate: 29 per hour + mileage
Contract: Temporary to Permanent (6 months)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Repair Surveyor to join a busy housing repairs team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded surveyor with strong knowledge of the building sector and social housing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out property inspections across the Barnet borough

• Diagnosing building defects and repair issues

• Raising and managing works using SOR codes

• Specifying and overseeing day-to-day repairs and maintenance

• Liaising with contractors, residents, and internal teams

• Ensuring works are completed to required standards and timescales

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Repair / Maintenance Surveyor

• Strong technical knowledge of the building and construction sector

• Solid understanding of social housing repairs and maintenance

• Confident use of SOR codes

• Ability to manage a patch and work independently

• Full UK driving licence (mileage paid)
