A new vacancy for a TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER with leading international provider of specialist services to the Construction industry. Reporting in to the company's new regional offices in the North West of England, The TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER will be responsible for planning, coordinating and conducting assessments on a wide range of construction products & systems relating to BUILDING THERMODYNAMICS & CONDENSATION - including THERMAL BRIDGING and MOISTURE TRANSFER calculations. You will also be involved in preparing contract offers and estimates for the assessment of these products/systems. The job holder will be required to research and investigate aspects of construction product/system performance, working as part of a team of specialists and contributing to team and individual targets & objectives. The company would also welcome applications from candidates for more senior PRINCIPAL ENGINEER/SCIENTIST and TEAM MANAGER roles with the same business unit.
Key candidate requirements:
- Good understanding of THERMODYNAMIC PRINCIPLES, BUILDING PHYSICS and MOISTURE TRANSFER in buildings.
- Knowledge of relevant building regulations & standards.
