Quantity Surveyor

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a commercially aware Quantity Surveyor with 3-4 years' experience and strong prior knowledge of groundworks.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects valued between 500k - 2.5m, working closely with site and senior management teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of groundworks projects from start to final account
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, interim valuations and final accounts
• Manage subcontractor procurement, valuations and payments
• Assess variations, prepare claims and support negotiations
• Monitor project costs, cashflow forecasting and reporting
• Attend site and commercial meetings as required

About You

• 3-4 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor
• Strong prior knowledge and experience within groundworks
• Experience managing projects valued 500k - 2.5m
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Relevant construction or surveying qualification desirable
• Full UK driving licence
