We are seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Manager to lead all pre-contract activities and ensure the successful transition of projects from client instruction through to contract execution. Key Responsibilities

Risk Management & Compliance
Identify and manage design, planning, ecological, commercial, and construction risks.

Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.

Role
Leading MEP / Mechanical & Electrical team to deliver large scale projects in Europe: Commercial/ Industrial/ Plant/ Distribution/ Data Centres: Design, Install & Handover to client. Role is suitable for a Quantity Surveyor/ Cost Engineer/ Cost Planner/ Contract Manager with experience in German Construction. At either a contractor, consultancy or client.
Essential Requirements
• Experience in Germany is essential for this role.
• Quantity Surveyor or similar eg Cost Engineer/ Cost Planner/ Contract Manager
• Basic German language.
• Degree: Quantity Surveying or similar
• Cost planning, cost control, Contract Manager or Cost Planner for construction work
• Negotiation of building contracts and in the execution of construction work.
• Cost planning and cost control techniques for different types of construction.
• Contract Law for Work and Labour.
Advantage to have:
• Fluent German
• German Regulations eg TGA, VOB, VDE / Bundes Gazette
• Professional qualifications/ membership/ chartered an advantage.
• Data Centres, Distribution, commercial, industrial, plants or similar.
• Health and safety regulations relevant for construction work in Germany

Senior Civil Engineer – Dublin City

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years’ experience working in an engineering role with a main contractor on civil projects while having exposure to reinforced concrete structures.
The Role:
* Responsible for Civil Engineers and supporting the Site Manager with the day to day running of the project.
* Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
* Checking plans, drawings and supervision of setting out co – ordination.
* Calling off reinforcement and ordering rebar from schedules.
* As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for setting out and levelling of sites.
* You will be responsible for the overall surveying of sites.

The work will involve setting up and dealing with Quality Assurance, being the point of contact and responsible on site for all sub contractors along with the standard requirements of a site engineer. SMSTS/SSSTS and a First Aid certificate are desirable and a relevant CSCS card is essential.
Experience as minimum, at the following:
Setting out, levelling and surveying the site.
Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
