Are you a driven and experienced Quantity Surveyor ready to step up into a senior role on major projects in the Cambridge area and beyond? We're hiring a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a highly respected, long-established construction and development group with a strong regional presence and national reach.

Role Overview

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will:

  • Lead commercial and contractual management across key projects,

  • Provide strategic cost advice, risk analysis and value engineering,

  • Manage and mentor QS team members and act as a key interface with clients and supply chain partners,

  • Drive commercial performance from pre-contract through to final account,

  • Champion best practice in reporting, commercial control and governance.



What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on complex construction projects (typically > 50m),

  • Contractual expertise and strong commercial acumen,

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Desirable:

  • Degree or equivalent educational background in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related discipline,

  • Professional accreditation (e.g., RICS or similar),

  • Experience across both public and private sector delivery.
