Assistant / Quantity Surveyor - Civil Engineering

Our client, a leader in the civil engineering sector, is currently seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor on a contract basis to join their team working on high-volume, lower-value projects at Manchester Airport.

• Supporting the delivery of high-volume, lower-value works typically up to 3-4m
• Administering NEC contracts from start to finish
• Drafting, managing, and running tenders
• Managing contract processes end-to-end
• Working within a complex stakeholder environment
• Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports
• Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
• Liaising with clients and subcontractors as necessary

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
• Experience in quantity surveying, particularly within the context of high-volume, lower-value projects
• Hands-on experience with NEC contract administration
• Proficiency in drafting and managing tenders
• Ability to manage end-to-end contract processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Airport/aviation experience desirable
