Civil Engineer Onshore for a major Offshore Wind Project based in The Uk Responsibilities Preparation of technical documents / papers for internal review Preparation of employer's requirements and technical specifications Management of contractors and subconsultants to ensure that their output meets HSSE, quality, and technical requirements in an adequate, economic and efficient manner. Oversight of the complete Substation civil/structural design, as developed by consultants and contractors, including all interfaces with other disciplines, from planning drawings through FEED to the completion of detailed design. Ensuring that the design and the as-built substation meet all consent and regulatory requirements Support to the project during the Detailed Design and Construction phase. Input into the definition and execution of onshore ground investigations, site surveys and walkovers Oversight of the logistics plans and onshore transportation routes for all onshore substation related activities Giving technical input to other project functions in your area of knowledge/expertise. Participation in project team meetings and cross-disciplinary co-operation. Participating in the procurement activities associated with onshore civil works in the project. Define, identify and manage key interfaces between the different work packages ensuring those are captured in technical requirements and more broader contract documentation.
