LXA (Level Crossing Attendant)

Teamforce Labour are currently recruiting experienced LXAs for long-term rail infrastructure projects across Kent and the South East. This role is ideal for safety-conscious and reliable individuals seeking stable, ongoing work within the rail sector.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Operating and monitoring level crossings in line with Network Rail procedures
• Ensuring the safe passage of trains, vehicles, and pedestrians
• Communicating effectively with signallers and site management
• Maintaining constant vigilance and responding appropriately to incidents or irregularities
• Completing all required safety checks, logs, and documentation
• Complying fully with railway rules, standards, and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Valid LXA competency (Network Rail approved)
• PTS with ICI
• Sound knowledge of Network Rail rules and level crossing procedures
• Right to work in the UK
• Full PPE
• Drug & alcohol and medical in date

Desirable (but not essential):

• Previous experience on long-term rail projects
• Additional rail competencies
