Exciting opportunity for an Electrician to join a reputable leading housing association!
I am looking for an electrician to work with an established social housing provider in the Maryport area. This is an ongoing temporary contract with the potential of a permanent contract after 12 weeks.
The successful candidate will carry out electrical repairs, installation, testing and inspection within housing and be responsible for fault finding. You will also have an excellent knowledge to ensure electrical faults are diagnosed and repaired effectively.
You will receive:
- 19.62 PAYE
- 3 months minimum of work - potentially temporary to permanent.
The successful candidate will be expected to complete:
- Planned maintenance on domestic properties
- 8:00AM - 4:00PM, Monday to Friday - 37 hours per week.
Requirements:
- NVQ level 3 in electrical installation.
- 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations.
- 2391 Inspecting and Testing.
- AM2 or equivalent.
- Previous social housing/council house maintenance experience.
- Full UK driving license.
- Ability to pass a basic DBS.
