We are hiring for a Commercial Assistant for a main contractor based in Southampton. This is an entry level role which is based in the company office in Southampton.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing project costs
- Ensure good value for money
- Assisting in cost forecasting
- Monitoring project finances
- Liaising with clients
- Understanding the clients needs
- Estimating the project costs and time-lines
- Preparing tender documents
- Managing risks
- Contract administration
Job Requirements:
- Preferred not essential a valid degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Have a positive can-do attitude.
- Good analytical skills and technical proficiency in MS office suite.
