SITE MANAGER NEEDED IN WESTBURY

Our client is looking for a good client facing manager who can manage groundworks and then fit out work.

This is a 18 bay modular project and is adjacent to a live railway line.

Job Role: Site Manager

Project Type: Modular

Location: Westbury, Wiltshire

Pay Rate: £280 - £290 per day

Duration: On going

Payroll Model: Weekly

Free Parking on site

Key Responsibilities:

Inducting sub-contractors & site labour on a daily basis

Managing and maintaining the highest standards of safety

Contributing to the value engineering and build-ability of the project

Marshalling of resources for the overall control and execution of the works including the selection of sub-contractors to carry out the works

Ensuring that key dates, resource requirements, production rates, overhead targets etc., are established, monitored and controlled

Managing multi disciplinary teams

Experience and Qualifications:

You will ideally have experience of working within the Construction industry, specifically on Groundworks sections of projects or modular builds previously

You will have experience of working for a main contractor, Modular Building Contractor or well-known Groundworks/Civils Contractor as a Site Manager.

Good communication verbally and in written form and be able to complete RAMS and have basic experience of Microsoft Word and Excel

Hold current CSCS Black card, or SMSTS certificate and first aid

Present a clean and tidy site and have a good understanding of the considerate contractors requirements to achieve high score
