Structural Steel Design Engineer

JN Technical is recruiting an experienced Structural Steel Design Engineer for a national steelwork contractor delivering complex projects across the UK.

Role:

• Structural steel design using industry software

• Apply loadings, calculate stresses and load paths

• Interpret drawings and specifications

• Ensure compliance with UK standards and H&S

• Liaise with clients and project teams

• Support tenders and provide progress updates

Requirements:

• Extensive UK steelwork industry experience

• Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering (or equivalent)

• Strong structural mechanics and design calculation skills

• Software experience: Tekla Structural Designer (Fastrak), Fastrak Portal Frame, MasterFrame / STAAD Pro, MasterSeries Connections
