The successful candidate will have overall responsibility of the erection stage of each project, ensuring it is ran efficiently and effectively. Applicants must have experience managing the erection of 500+ tonne steel structures. Site Manager key roles and responsibilities: - Prepare for successful delivery of the assigned project - Plan, monitor and manage execution of construction activities to ensure safe, on time, in budget, high quality completion - Review and monitor timely reporting of construction progress and maintain detailed records - Drive and manage internal and external relationships for effective and efficient achievement of project goals - Provide leadership, ongoing guidance and support to motivate the site team - Prioritise Health and Safety - Create and maintain positive working relationships with clients The successful Site Manager will manage nationwide steelwork contracts. Senior Contracts Manager Structural Steelwork Industry: Structural Steel / Construction / Engineering A leading structural engineering contractor is looking for an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to oversee structural steel projects across the UK. This is a senior level role , ideal for someone confident managing multiple steelwork packages (500+ tonnes) and delivering projects from design through to installation. Role Overview Manage the full project lifecycle: planning, design coordination, fabrication, installation and commercial delivery Oversee multiple steelwork projects simultaneously Monitor programmes, ensuring deadlines, quality and commercial targets are met Lead client, subcontractor and internal team communication Provide strong commercial and contractual oversight Requirements Proven experience delivering 500+ tonne structural steel projects Strong IT skills (Word, Excel) Excellent written and verbal communication Solid working knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts Ability to work independently and manage multiple live projects Desirable Qualifications Degree in Construction Management (or equivalent) IOSH CSCS Black Managers Card Appointed Person (AP)

JN Technical is recruiting a Tekla Detailer on behalf of a UK structural steel contractor. You will contribute to large scale steelwork packages across a variety of sectors. Key Responsibilities: Develop accurate Tekla Structures models for building and steel structures in accordance with project specifications and industry standards. Produce Tekla models from client and design team drawings, supporting projects from initial modelling through to fabrication and erection. Generate fabrication, fitting, component, and general arrangement (GA) drawings , along with NC data. Prepare and export reports and data for STRUMIS steel fabrication software in line with workshop requirements. Ensure all models and drawings are delivered in accordance with the project fabrication programme and deadlines . Apply current UK drawing practices and standards relating to model build, connections, and fabrication detailing. Manage workload effectively while maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality across multiple projects. Requirements Minimum 5 years experience in structural steel detailing. Strong working knowledge of Tekla Structures and 3D steel modelling. Proven experience within the UK steel fabrication industry . Ability to produce approval drawings for client submission, PMLs and detailed fabrication information. Excellent time management and communication skills.
