They're a very well established, leading construction and building services company based in Kent specialising in improving and protecting the built environment nationwide for over the last 20 years! They pride themselves in providing a fully comprehensive service across multiple avenues such as Construction Projects, Fire Protection & Security Solutions and Electrical Services and Maintenance simplifying compliance and risk management for clientele nationwide whilst enhancing safety and asset protection. Due to the quality of work and service provided, they've amassed an expansive client base with projects across Prisons, High Rises, Social Housing and numerous Commercial properties!
Due to their consistent and exponential growth and expansion they're seeing, they now looking for a Administrator to join them ASAP!
This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of £35k + Commission! The work pattern offers you working from home 4 days a week and only in the office 1 day a week!
This position would suit an experienced Administration Professional with a positive and proactive attitude to work!
Duties include:
- Provide efficient administrative support to the team and management
- Manage incoming calls, emails and correspondence in a professional manner
- Maintain accurate records, databases and filing systems (electronic and paper)
- Prepare, update and distribute documents, reports and spreadsheets
- Schedule meetings, appointments and diaries, ensuring effective coordination
- Support operational processes such as job logging, work orders and data entry
- Assist with invoicing, purchase orders and general finance administration (if required)
- Monitor and order office supplies and equipment
- Liaise with internal departments, clients, suppliers and contractors
- Ensure confidentiality and data protection requirements are met
- Support compliance processes and assist with audits or reporting
- Undertake ad-hoc administrative tasks as required to support business needs
They type of candidate they're looking for:
- Skilled and experinced in UpTick admin software!
- Previous experience in an administrative role (Construction/Fire Protection industry desirable)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general IT systems
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Professional and polite manner when dealing with colleagues, clients and suppliers
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Confident handling sensitive and confidential information
- Willingness to learn new systems and processes
- Reliable, punctual and proactive approach to work
