About the role We are looking for experienced Modular Installers to join a growing team supporting modular building manufacturers and contractors in the safe and successful delivery of their projects. As a Modular Installer, you will be responsible for installing, positioning and fitting out modular buildings for both permanent and temporary use. Working on projects across the UK, you will play an important role in ensuring modular buildings are installed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. This Modular Installer role is ideal for someone with at least three years of experience in the modular building industry who takes pride in their work, enjoys practical challenges and works well as part of a team. Based in Hull, you must be comfortable travelling nationwide and staying away from home during the working week. Company vans are provided, along with accommodation and a food allowance when working away. Key responsibilities Installing, positioning and siting modular buildings on client sites. Connecting modular units safely and correctly in line with project requirements. Carrying out the internal and external fitting out of modular buildings. Supporting the safe delivery and installation of temporary and permanent modular structures. Working collaboratively with colleagues, contractors and other site personnel to complete projects efficiently. Following site health and safety procedures and maintaining safe working practices at all times. Ensuring all installation work is completed to a high standard, with attention to detail and quality. Travelling to sites across the UK and working away from home during the week. Maintaining a professional, customer focused approach when working on client sites. Supporting the wider installation team to meet project deadlines and operational requirements. Skills and experience required Essential criteria: At least three years of experience working in the modular building industry. A valid CSCS card. NVQ Level 2 in an appropriate trade. A full, valid driving licence. Willingness to travel nationwide and work away from home from Monday to Friday. A positive attitude, with a hardworking and committed approach. Good timekeeping, reliability and punctuality. The ability to work effectively as part of a team. A strong focus on workmanship, safety and customer satisfaction. Flexibility to work occasional weekends when required. Desirable criteria: CPCS Slinger or Signaller qualification, or a willingness to work towards it. IPAF qualification, or a willingness to obtain it. A genuine interest in developing skills and progressing towards site supervisory responsibilities. Fire Project Manager Location: South East / London Salary: £60,000 £65,000 DOE Benefits: Company car or car allowance + 10% annual bonus Working Pattern: Predominantly site-based, with occasional attendance at an office in Reading (approximately fortnightly/monthly) The Role We are seeking an experienced Fire Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of fire protection projects across the South East and London. The ideal Fire Project Manager will have a strong electrical background, together with experience in fire detection, fire suppression and data centre environments . You will take ownership of project scope, programme, budget, quality, safety and client satisfaction, coordinating internal teams, subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, commercially and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Delivery Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and programmes. Prepare project budgets, cash flow forecasts and cost plans. Coordinate project start-up meetings and review designs, specifications and system layouts. Manage procurement of materials, plant, labour and subcontract services. Oversee site operations and ensure key milestones are achieved. Coordinate design, engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning teams. Strong commercial, budgeting, cost control and contract administration skills. Experience managing subcontractors and self-delivery teams. Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics and compliance documentation. Strong problem-solving, organisational and communication skills. Good understanding of construction programmes, sequencing and project lifecycles. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook; project management/ERP experience is advantageous. Essential Requirements NVQ Level 3 or above in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline. Valid CSCS card. SMSTS qualification. Full UK driving licence.
