Multi Skilled Electrician

We have an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Electrician to join the Property Maintenance and Construction Department of a leading housing association in the Northeast, working within our Spennymoor maintenance teams.

This is a key role delivering high-quality electrical and multiskilled repairs across both domestic and commercial properties, with a strong focus on customer service and community impact.

Location: Spennymoor & Surrounding Region
Contract: Full Time - Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: 38,225 per annum
On-call earnings: Up to 43,000 per annum including standby

The Opportunity

About the Role

As a Multi Skilled Electrician, you will:

• Undertake all damp-associated electrical repairs and accompanying multiskilled repairs
• Work across domestic and commercial properties
• Deliver work to a high-quality standard, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• Provide an excellent customer experience at every stage
• Engage positively with tenants, colleagues and stakeholders
• Act as an ambassador for the organisation, promoting positive work across our communities
• Adapt to new ways of working and contribute to continuous improvement in services

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have experience working in domestic and commercial property maintenance
• Be comfortable working in a target-driven, customer-focused environment
• Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills
• Take pride in delivering a first-class repairs service
• Be flexible, proactive and positive about change
• Understand wider building construction, including materials, components, trades and regulations

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• NVQ / City & Guilds qualification as an Electrician
• 18th Edition
• Testing & Inspection qualification
• Full UK driving licence
• Proven experience working in a customer-first environment
