Overview
We are seeking an experienced Building Services Manager to join a commercial project team in Marylebone. This is a long-term role with the opportunity to go temp-to-perm for the right individual.
The role will cover a mix of pre-construction and live commercial projects, taking over from a freelance Building Services Manager currently on site.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate M&E services across pre-construction and live projects
Work closely with pre-construction, design, and delivery teams
Review and coordinate M&E designs, specifications, and programmes
Oversee installation, commissioning, and handover of building services
Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
Ensure compliance with current building regulations and health & safety standards
Attend design team and site progress meetings
Support procurement and cost control alongside commercial teams
Project Experience Required
Proven experience as a Building Services Manager on commercial construction projects
Experience working on both pre-construction and live sites
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractors
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in a Building Services Manager role
Strong technical knowledge of building services (M&E)
Excellent coordination and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a wider project team
Relevant qualifications in Building Services / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering preferred
