Quantity Surveyor

Our Client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with a background in surfacing or residential housing development to work on a diverse portfolio of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing project costs from initial estimates through to final accounts

• Preparing and reviewing valuations, cost plans, and tender documentation

• Monitoring budgets and ensuring effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle

• Managing subcontractor packages, including procurement and payments

• Preparing variations and supporting commercial negotiations

• Working closely with project and operational teams to ensure commercial success

Requirements:

• 4-5 years' experience working as a Quantity Surveyor

• Proven experience within surfacing, civil engineering, or residential housing development

• Strong understanding of cost management, contracts, and procurement

• Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
