Position: Senior Architect

Location: Hove

Salary: Up to 55,000 + hybrid working + further benefits to be discussed

Currently recruiting for a Senior Architect for a well-established and award winning, Chartered practice based in Hove. This Practice are passionate about creating detailed designs that improve the built environment. The Senior Architect will be working on a range of projects within the Residential, Industrial, MOD, Education, Commercial and Sustainability sectors. Project values can be anything from smaller scale, up to projects that are around 50 million + in value.

The appointed Senior Architect will play a key role in leading and coordinating projects through all RIBA stages, from concept through to completion. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within a talented team, take ownership of design delivery, and contribute to the continued success of this dynamic practice.

Senior Architect Position Overview

• Lead multiple projects through all RIBA Stages
• Manage clients relationships
• Oversee and contribute to day to day design development, ensuring high standards
• Prepare and review detailed design and construction documentation
• Ensure design quality, technical accuracy and compliance with regulations
• Contribute to the design of listed building refurbishments as well as some new build schemes
• Producing feasibility studies, planning applications and tender packages
• Contribute to the development of sustainable designs
• Take ownership of projects, particularly from technical delivery
• Mentor and support more junior members of the team

Senior Architect Position Requirements

• ARB Registered Architect
• Experience working on Residential, Industrial, Education or MOD Advantageous but not essential
• Live within a commutable distance of Chichester
• Experience across all RIBA Stages
• Strong technical delivery skills
• Highly motivated & team player
• Excellent design skills & Relevant degree qualified
